What Customers Say About Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, and Other Stories:

I have never had a problem with Amazon before. I did not receive this book. I paid, but have written and explained that I didn't get it.
I can't imagine what the writer was thinking. I purchased this for my grandkids, but they never saw it. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Absolute garbage. My husband and I read the book and tossed it in the trash. There was no good message, no encouragement.
This is the title that got my 6 and 7 year olds hooked on Judith Viorst and other Alexander books. When a young boy is frustrated, treated unfairly or suffers from bad luck, he can turn to this book for comfort and a grin. The pictures are fun, the writing is very good and the story line is great.
Now you just have to find it in your next bad day. It is a lighthearted, refreshing reminder (to the kids we're reading to, as well as ourselves) that everyone has bad days. It's easy to see the humor in this book. I love this book. and turn it around. It is a classic. My mother read it to me when I was a child, and now I read it to my 3 boys. No child's bookshelf is complete without it.
Hope that they love it as much as their folks did. I read this book to my now grown children many, many times over the years. Now I have bought it for their children.
